Inspired by traditional Mayan design this friendship pattern is composed of blush, grey and black. Our designer, Fiona Kempton found herself creating friendship bracelets with her daughter whilst traveling and was excited to design these straps. These macramé straps are handcrafted by local women in Chiapas, Mexico and then finished with our hardware and leather detail by our artisan in New York.
The Crossbody Bag Strap: Measured at approximately 45" this strap is the ideal length to drape across your body for a comfortable and casual look.
The Shoulder Bag Strap: Measured at approximately 34" this strap length is designed to be paired with our Canvas Crossbody bag or used as a shorter shoulder strap. See examples below.

Kempton & Co. laptop handbags are made of highest quality leather and materials. Grain and slight differences of color are characteristics of the leather. The leather is a natural product and, inherent in the material, are scars and irregularities, which can spot, lose color, or darken. We believe this adds to the character and aesthetic of our products. Water stains should be left alone, as they will ultimately blend into the darker leather with time and wear. The leather may stain if exposed to oils, dyes, or dark denim, and may be difficult to remove. When the bag is not in use, it is recommended to keep it in a soft dust bag to protect the hardware from scratching.
With normal use, your bag may darken or become more slouchy and soft. We recommend keeping your bag away from direct sunlight, heat, humidity, and water. Exposure to makeup, oil, dyes, and dark denim can unfortunately stain the leather and can be hard to remove. In the case that your bag is stained, we strongly suggest

Regular price, unworn merchandise with tags attached will be accepted for a refund. Items must be received back in store within 14 days of the customer’s purchase date. All returned items must be properly packaged and insured.
